They danced in the rain

Recently, Mach 1 had the opportunity to play a reception where most of the dancing was outdoors.

July.  Montana.  Outside.

Of course there was going to be rain!

We set up indoors and outdoors at the venue, because we're good like that.  We were ready to move the show inside, if needed, but we also located a large umbrella to "protect" the DJ equipment.

These guests were so great...  we played, they danced, the rain fell.  It was one of the most unique and fun receptions Mach 1 Music has ever played...  I guarantee this wedding reception will be remembered by everyone involved for quite some time.

They danced all night in the rain!  It was an honor to be a part of it.

Be careful about your "Do Not Play" list

Yeah, you have songs you've heard waaaaaaaaay too many times at events. We've heard them too many times too... There's a reason you've heard them so much. Songs are "classic" for a reason.

They're fun.
EVERYBODY can dance to them.

Please keep in mind that your DJ is there for you AND your guests.

Do you want your guests to remember that your deejay DIDN'T play something they wanted, or that they DID play it and a lot of people had fun?

Just sayin'.

When you make your "Do Not Play" list... think about your guests.

If you must have a "Do Not Play" list... try this...  How much is it worth to you for the song to be played and people to have fun with it?
